How to install Xmlstarlet on Mac OSX?

Hi all,
While installing Xmlstarlet on Debian is easy, it is a little bit different on Mac OSX. Indeed, you have to compile the Xmlstarlet sources.

  1. First of all, to continue you must have installed Xcode for your Mac OS version.
  2. Download Xmlstarlet source here and go to Xmlstarlet folder:

    cd xmlstarlet-1.6.1

  3. Once in Xmlstarlet folder you can run compilation:

    sudo ./configure
    sudo make
    sudo make install

You are a winner, you have compiled Xmlstarlet on your Mac OS. ;)
